Apple WatchKit Lab: My hands on developer experience with the Apple Watch before the public release — Wes Filleman

Wes was one of the lucky developers invited by Apple to test out any of his WatchKit apps on the actual Apple Watch weeks before the public release. This is his story about the experience and why he hopes this is the future of new product releases from Apple.
Wes Filleman is an independent iOS app developer since 2008 focusing on the connected home with the MobiLinc line of iOS/Android apps.

Favorite Development Utilities — Group

An opportunity for everyone to share your favorite utilities, plug-ins, and other small apps that improve your development process. Some may be obvious or familiar to other developers, while others may be surprising. Bring your AirPlay-compatible device and show off one or more or your favorites, no more than 1–2 minutes for each item.

Exploring App Monetization Strategies with Actual Results — Joe Michels

Joe shares specific strategies he’s tried for monetizing his iOS apps — pricing models, price changes, release strategies, promotions, and more — and provides specific financial results. With a new companion Mac app in App Store, he’s also gained insights into that marketplace.
Joe Michels is the owner of Software Ops, an app system development company in Scottsdale, AZ. His apps have been in the App Store since 2008.
