NEW LOCATION!

TOPICS:

Presentation: Creating a Social Storytelling App — Kyle Stewart
Storybyte is a startup in Scottsdale focused on building the best place to create photo based stories on the web. The app we are creating spans mobile and web but is very focused on the iOS platform. In the presentation I will go over what it takes to bring together a server backend with a mobile app and web experience. I will also highlight some of the technical decisions we made and why. Lastly I will dive deeper into one or two sections of the app and show some code examples. Overall I will give an overview of what it might take to make the next big mobile social network.

Hype My Code — You
You and anyone interested can show off code they’ve been working on recently. It’s a great opportunity to demonstrate something interesting and to get feedback.

WWDC Discussion
By the time the June meeting rolls around, WWDC will be in full swing. We’ll discuss what we’re expecting, who’s attending, and how to get the most out of the week.
